Some old, rich White Guy murders 59 people and shoots more than 500 more, while in a hotel room full of assault rifles and the Republicans keep repeating the mantra that it’s not the right time to talk about gun control since we’re still mourning the victims.  By some wide stretch of imagination they might possibly have a point, were it not for the fact that they repeat this mantra after every mass shooting,  in order to prevent reasonable gun control from being a part of our national discussion.  This is also at a point where they have been deliberating a Trump Jr. backed plan to legalize silencers for firearms because  of possible ear damage to shooters:

Now as the old, White guy was murdering people with his modified automatic weaponry, the only way the crowd of 22,000 could tell they were targets in a shooting range, was the rat-a-tat-tat of the firing bullets.  If this murderer had silenced his weapons, perhaps he might have murdered twice as many innocent concert goers. That seems to be okay with these Republican congresspeople:

In the spirit of the Republican solidarity with the people, perhaps they should consider that……

Maybe it’s NOT the right time to talk about……….

Tax Reform (um…Tax Cuts for the Rich) because with the destruction and deaths from hurricanes in Houston, Florida, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands during the last three weeks, the costs will be in the billions and as Trump said yesterday “Will break the budget!“

Repealing Obamacare because about about 6,775 people die per day in the United States and so it would be unseemly to discuss the health care they may have needed.

I am sure that there are many other items in the Republican legislative agenda that it is far too early to talk about, but there is one overriding one that I think Trumps all the others.

It is NOT the right time to talk about anything that is in the Republican Agenda because their President was elected by colluding with Russia to rig the American electoral system and the Republican majority is the result of Russian interference, voter suppression and gerrymandering.

It is the right time to talk about resisting these usurpers of American democracy and find a way to throw them ALL out of office.
