Nobody Asked Me But…………………………….
Why does a meeting of the world’s richest countries to set policies of world banking and world trade seem to exclude almost all African nations and most Silk Road Nations?
Given that nuclear, or soon to be nuclear countries like Iran, Israel, Pakistan and North Korea are excluded from the G20, does the group’s statement that its’ “economic weight and broad membership gives it a high degree of legitimacy and influence over the management of the global economy and financial system,” seem like hubris?
Does Anyone really Believe that Trump has the capability to capably represent U.S. Interests at the G20?
In a battle of wits, who would you put your money on….Putin or Trump?
Trump and Putin were talking for an hour and a half, do you really think Trump could remember, or understand all of the instructions Putin gave him?
If you are tweeting at #MAGA you don’t have a clue!
If the G20 represents a striving for World stability, why are these people protesting?

What does this picture tell you about Trump at the G20 Summit?
When will these “Masters of the Universe” come to the realization that humanity is in pain and our planet is in trouble, yet they are doing more harm than healing with their summit meetings about keeping the money in the hands of those who already have it?

Why should countries set economic policy? Why shouldn’t a free market set interest rates?
You want your socialism but then get all upset when you get it. You want the government to provide health care and old age pensions and free school but you get your panties in a wad when they craft economic policy to adjust the interest rate and control our fiat money to make all these socialist utopian dreams possible.
Maybe some day you will see that freedom means both political and economic freedom. Democratic socialism is an oxymoron unless you have a society where 51% of the people are takers. Then you have a society of slaves and welfare kings and queens.

Born,
Don’t you get the fact that the people you vote for, like Trump, are for socialism, but only for the wealthy?

You might be right, we will see what Trump does. I hope he ends up being a Jefferson and not an FDR.

Bron,
Both Jefferson and FDR, whatever you think of either, were intelligent, reflective and competent people. Trump is a bankruptcy con artist and reality show host, who only sees the world through his own selfish needs and greeds.

We will see if he is an egotist or an egoist.
I saw the PBS special on FDR it was not a flattering portrayal, he came across as a spoiled rich kid who never grew up. Maybe all people born rich are like that. I don’t care much for people who came from wealth, at least the ones I have met. I like the wealthy ones Ive met who made it, well not all.

Spoiled rich kid — that shut down the nation’s banks for three days, enacted Glass-Steagall in this time, which allowed for FDIC insurance on depository institutions (banks, to you and me), and enforced the separation of depository vs. investment banking.
He didn’t do anything during WWII, either.
What a spoiled rich kid.

BTW, Bron,
When I say ‘enacted’ I meant hammered out, with the legislation passing in the next session of Congress.

history abounds:
you think glass stegal was good? Go do some reading about it. As for WWII, he got into it to save Stalin from the Nazis. There were a bunch of commies in the government.

Bron,
Was that before, or after FDR bombed Pearl Harbor? Also it seems that FDR saved Great Britain, France and the rest of Europe as well. Plus in your exhortation to read history you might include the battle of Stalingrad as well, where it seems that it was the USSR that ultimately defeated Hitler.

I think we sent arms and ammunition to Stalin.
Bush screwed up just like FDR, he should have let the dictators knock themselves out and then killed them both.
I don’t think FDR bombed Pearl Harbor. There were definitely a bunch of commies in his administration.
I just found out Woodrow Wilson prevented integration of the military. You progressives have a long history of screwing blacks and America.
